Many of you may now have heard the news from Lakeland about the tragic circumstances surrounding Todd and Shonnah Bentley. We stand with them and their family in Prayer, and ask that God would bring restoration. In situations like this you often begin to ask questions, why God? In essence it reminds us never to focus our attention on the man but on what God is doing. There is no doubting that God has poured out His Spirit in Lakeland, and there have been many conversions, and healing miracles both there and around the world as result of the outpouring. God will continue to pour His Spirit out to those who are hungry for Him. Inevitably when these things happen there will be those who point the finger, but I would simply point them to the bible where God made a point of using imperfect vessels to bring Glory to His name. This is in no way condoning sin or moral failure, however, rather than condemn, we must pray for restoration and healing in what is a very tragic situation. Renewal is here!!!
If you have a heart to catch the fire of God then come along and be part of what is going on. We are holding meetings every Friday night at 7.30 as well as normal church meetings.
We are seeing healing, we are seeing peoples lives transformed by the power of God. We have been out on the streets praying for healing and seeing miracles happening before our eyes!! You are more than welcome to join us, if you have a hunger for more of God in your life, if you need a miracle in your life, or if you simply want to find out what is going on.
Street Prayer
We begun our street prayer cafe on the 5th of July and God really moved. We saw healing in the street, a woman with pain for years, chronic pain for the last year, which the doctors did not know what was causing it. She was released from it and able to walk freely! Praise God.
Bringing Hope to our City
As part of our campaign to bring a little bit of God’s love to our city we have been involved in a number of projects. One of these projects included clearing the ditch that runs along the cycle path at the leisure centre. About 20 of us in total from our church and City Gate Church gave up our bank holiday on the 5th of May and set about pulling brambles and whatever else we found out of the ditch.
